On April 2, 2024, Council held a special council meeting and the audit was presented by Daniel Hebert with Belt Harris Pechacek, LLP. During the presentation Mr. Hebert explained that City Council had received the annual related party questionnaire for completion in December 2023 and also as a follow up in March 2024 prior the completion of the audit. Any concerns addressed in the questionnaire were followed up by Mr. Hebert prior to the completion of the audit. Council requested more time to review the report before approving since the report was not ready until the special council meeting where it was presented.
Please note Mr. Hebert will not be at his meeting since this additional meeting was not included in the initial engagement letter.
The electronic version of the audit was sent to Council on Thursday, April 4, 2024 and requested any questions or concerns be sent to the Finance Director to ensure a complete response could be provided.
