SUBJECT:   CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 2024-621, A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE NORTH FORT BEND WATER AUTHORITY WATER PROVIDER CONSERVATION PROGRAM, AND ESTABLISHING A LEADERSHIP WATER CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LEADERSHIP WATER CONSERVATION COMMITTEE

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


At the 5/14/2024 City Council meeting, staff received direction from Council to move forward with the City's participation in the 2025 Water Provider Conservation Program with the North Fort Bend Water Authority.   

 

The Resolution presented for consideration, Resolution 2024-621, will authorize the City's participation and will establish a Leadership Committee of at least three council members, to participate in monthly committee meetings.

 

 


RECOMMENDATION


City Council approve Resolution 2024-621, approving the City's participation in the Water Provider Conservation Program through the North Fort Bend Water Authority and establish a Leadership Committee. Authorize the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to Attest.
