EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


On May 23rd, 2024, the City of Fulshear opened proposals from RFP 2024-026 Audit Services. Proposals were received from:

Whitley Penn LLP

Pattillo, Brown & Hill LLP

Crowe LLP

Brooks Watson and Company PLLC

Forvis LLP

A Committee reviewed and graded the five responses in accordance with the scoring criteria of 10% Statement of Independence and Statement of License in Texas, 40% Qualifications and Experience of firm, Partners, Supervisory, and Staff with References of Similar Engagements with Other Government Entities, 40% Methodology and Approach, 10% Proposed Pricing. The Committee determined Crowe LLP had the best value and most advantageous proposal.  


RECOMMENDATION


The Committee recommends that the Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Engagement Letter with Crowe, LLP.
