EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


The FM 359 Waterline and Sewerline Extension projects' construction contract was approved for award at the February 2024 regular Council meeting. The water and sewer line extensions will cross an existing Kinder Morgan natural gas pipeline that runs East-West on FM 359 which requires an encroachment agreement be executed between both parties. The encroachment agreement details the proposed installation location, the limits of separation agreed to between the utility lines, and guidelines for construction activities around the pipeline.


RECOMMENDATION


Staff recommends City Council authorize the Mayor to execute the encroachment agreement.
