EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


This purchase is to upgrade and add new laptops that are Windows 11 Ready. Some computers currently are not windows 11 ready and can not be upgraded and/or are at end of life and are ready for a computer refresh cycle. This purchase DIR Contract purchase and is only for standard city employees workstations/laptops.


RECOMMENDATION


Staff Recommendation is to Approve this purchase due to the End of Life of Windows 10 in 2025 and need to prepare the infrastructure for security reasons.
