EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


The Economic Development Corporation's bylaws have not been reviewed or revised since 2007. The legal counsel for the EDC recommends that the bylaws be reviewed at minimum, once after every legislative session. I am requesting authorization to form a committee made up of one council member, one EDC-A member, one EDC-B member, and EDC staff. Following the review and revision with the guidance of the EDC attorney staff will return and present the proposed bylaws to council for approval.
