EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In the 2021 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), Project D20B, was created for the FM 359 Storm Sewer Improvements, Phase I of Project B. The project was awarded to Costello, LLC for design under the 2020-054 Professional Service Agreement for an amount not to exceed $272,760.
As the design progressed, updates to the CIP were made as projects were evaluated and reviewed. Project D20B included updates to the project costs and a project name change to more accurately reflect the true scope of the project. The original design fees were not accurately reflected and need to be updated to reflect the reflect an amount not to exceed $288,762, and D20B is now known as Downtown Eastside Drainage (4th Street).
In addition, on July 14, 2023, Pape Dawson, LLC completed the acquisition of Costello, LLC.
The item for consideration is an Amendment to the original agreement to address the project name change, update the amount not to exceed, and incorporate the agreement under the Pape Dawson, LLC company name.
The agreement has been reviewed by staff and legal and is now ready for Council consideration.
RECOMMENDATION
City Council approve the Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement 2020-054 to include the project name change, the updated amount not to exceed of $288,762, and the company name change to Pape Dawson, LLC, and authorize the City Manager to execute.
